The rest of your party...

By now, you're certain that the voices you heard belong to Nell and Adi. You're not sure what they're saying but it's clear that they are arguing over something, if the intensity of their voices is any indication.

It takes all your strength to surmount the crest of the final hill. When you do, you notice Adi, Jon, and Nell standing around a hastily made fire. Adi is gesticulating widely while Nell stands passively across him.

Adi is speaking loudly enough for you to hear him with little effort.

"Nell, I won't go through with this," he is saying, "Fuck this quest--I'm turning back. It's not worth the money."

You don't hear Nell's response, but it seems to only anger Adi further. You are about to reveal yourself from your hiding spot when Adi unsheathes his sword.

"I'm going back now, Nell," you hear Adi say, "Don't stop me."
