Once inside, Kira sat down on her plush couch and crossed her shapely legs as she motioned for her husband's trusted friend to sit down with her.

"Ah my dear lady I have a plan." Harlan said beaming from ear to ear, "But it involves great danger."

"Well my plan is simple but a little risky." he said.

"Please continue." she begged looking for him to answer her.

"I believe that, tonight, we could sneak into Kettle and find Gore ourselves." Harlan said, "You'd then keep him distracted for a short while while I find the crosier and steal it back."

"How could I distract him?" the innocent blonde bombshell asked as she uncrossed and then re-crossed her shapely legs.

Harlan swallowed hard as he told her, "Well since Gore doesn't know either of us. I thought you could dress up real nice and talk with him for a bit. Maybe pretend you're interested in him, tease him a bit and perhaps show a little skin. I'll pretend to be your husband. Gore couldn't resist a challenge to take another man's wife. Especially from an old man like me. Then we'd get out of there before anything happens."

She knew that Harlan was right. Her husband had planned to keep her out of sight until the ceremony and then introduce her to the public and Harlan was never out in the public eye. Gore would have no idea who they were.

Of course, if Gore found out, their lives would be in great danger.

"Hmmm." Kira said considering her options and really wanted to help her husband out, "I'll do it!"

"Great!" Harlan exclaimed as he stood up, "We'll leave right after dark."

As soon as he left the room Kira looked through her large closets to find the perfect outfit to wear.
