The next hand

Rosalina dealt the next hand and you looked at your cards. You were in a rough spot, you almost had a straight, six, seven, eight, nine but it was ruined by the rouge three in your hand. In they’re current state your cards were worthless and you’d almost certainly be out of the game but you hadn’t traded cards yet, you had a chance to salvage this. You had two options before you, discard that annoying three and go for a straight. This would be practically unbeatable and even if one of the princesses beat your hand there’s no chance all three of them would. this was risky though the chances of drawing a five or ten while only discarding one card were low, especially if one of the princesses had what you wanted. Your other option was to discard all but the nine and hope for a pair. Since you would be discarding four cards here you’d have more chances to get a nine to give you pair, maybe even two for a three of a kind if you were lucky but a pair of nines wasn’t especially powerful even if you got the pair you could still be beaten quite easily. This was a tough choice and it could result in you being the first out of the game if you didn’t choose right or if things just didn’t go your way. “Uh Joseph, you’re taking a while.
