Chapter 6 by SimpleWriter

What are the results?

The new world is intense and advanced.

I suddenly felt like I had lurched backwards. When I found my balance I saw that I wasn't in the coffee shop anymore. Instead, I was in the back of a cab.

"Excuse me, driver? Where are we going?" I asked. I leaned forward to look in the front seat.

There was no one at the front, the car was driving itself. There wasn't even a steering wheel. A soft, male voice from the dash said, "We are currently in route to 1321 Madison Avenue."

I looked out the window. None of the cars along side us had drivers, but that wasn't the amazing part. They didn't have wheels, either. They were all floating! Every car on the road was a hover car!

I tried to remember everything I'd ever heard about how that might be possible. I vaguely recalled something about trains that floated with magnets, but I couldn't remember any details. It was like my brain was just a little less sharp. That scared me a little, but it was what I'd signed up for. I decided to just relax and see what would happen.

The car pulled up to a building and the door opened automatically. I got out and had to take a sec to adjust to how big everything was. I knew that I should have been a few inches shorter, but it was hard to tell since everything was bigger. The car, the bench on the street, it all seemed to be scaled up just a little. I went inside the building. It was dozens of stories tall, but there was a holographic display at the front that listed all the floors. Unfortunately, I had no idea where I was supposed to go.

"Excuse me, are you lost, little boy?"

I turned around and saw the first woman I'd seen in this new world. She was incredible. She was at least two feet taller than me, with long, curly black hair and glasses. She had on a grey jacket and skirt that hugged an amazing figure. Her breasts were huge and her waist was tiny. Actually, her waist was probably what would have been normal before my changes, but everything else was bigger. She was gorgeous, and at over seven feet tall, she was looming over me.

"I... um... I don't know where to go."

She smiled and put one hand on my shoulder. Then I lost my breath when she put her other hand on my chest and started rubbing it like I was a dog on his back. It did calm me down a bit, though.

"That's okay! I'll help you figure it out. What's your name, boy?"

I looked up into her beautiful, green eyes. "It's William. I'm starting a new job today."

"Oh yes! I was told exactly where to send you! Don't worry, I'm very good at helping men when they get lost. My name is Cindy, and I work the front desk here, so you can always ask for help. Come with me."

Cindy started walking, and I followed. I saw several other women, and they were all just as tall, beautiful, and smartly dressed as Cindy. A couple of them had men behind them, and they looked like little puppies following their owners. Cindy led me to an elevator door. She pushed the up button and said, "Now just go inside and tell the elevator that you'd like to go to Bright Star Innovations. If you forget tomorrow, I'll explain it again, okay?"

"Okay. Thank you," I said as I walked into the elevator. Did she really expect me to forget it by tomorrow? How dumb were men in this new world?

I asked the elevator to take me to Bright Star Innovations, and a calming male voice told me it would only be a minute. Since the walls were glass, I could see outside. The elevator shot up faster than I had thought possible, but somehow there was no jolt of inertia, we were just moving. The city landscape looked amazing. The buildings bent at odd angles that looked unstable, but somehow the buildings stayed up. One building in the distance looked like the top ten floors were floating a hundred feet above the rest of the building!

Then the doors opened, and the hottest woman I'd ever seen said, "You're late!"

Who was it?
