The neighbor lady
My heart beats hard in my chest, my pulse racing as I think about that smirk on my neighbor's face.
My mind cant help but go back to the way she looked, dressed only in a fluffy pink towel, her damp hair hanging down her back. Her skin looked so soft, just a hint of moisture still showing on her brow.
My eyes widening at my train of thought, I turn toward the door, looking out the peep hole, but I can see no sign of my neighbor.
Maybe that's it? Maybe she just went back into her apartment and will go on with her day as if nothing ever happened?
