The morning after talk

It’s going to be another long day at work. I feel a little rejuvenated from the workout, but that energy won’t get me through the day. I get my desk and computer in order right away this time, then start grinding coffee.

I while away the first couple hours without sight of Victoria. I begin to wonder if she is coming in to work at all. Her schedule shows a board meeting just after lunch. That would be bad for her if she misses it, especially if someone important were to find out she was too hungover. I send a text to remind her of the meeting and inquire if she is okay.

Tom’s head pops out from around the corner. His eyes dart back and forth, then approaches. “Victoria around?” He asks quietly.

“No sign of her so far.”

“I just want to say, You are a goddamn hero! Too bad we can’t tell everyone here what you’ve done. They would love it... well, SOME of them would. They’d probably buy some of the pictures, too.”

“Hmmm... I don’t know what you are talking about. Maybe you are thinking of someone else.”

“Right! I’m just so happy right now... We’ll talk later.” The thought of spreading Victoria’s boudoir pictures around the office would sure cause a stir, and even if they got back to her, she would have a hard time proving who leaked them, that is if I let several days or weeks pass before doing it.

Tom’s head pops out from around the corner. His eyes dart back and forth, then approaches. “Victoria around?” He asks quietly.

“No sign of her so far.”

“I just want to say, You are a goddamn hero! Too bad we can’t tell everyone here what you’ve done. They would love it... well, SOME of them would. They’d probably buy some of the pictures, too.”

“Hmmm... I don’t know what you are talking about. Maybe you are thinking of someone else.”

“Right! I’m just so happy right now... We’ll talk later.” The thought of spreading compromising pictures of Victoria around the office would sure cause a stir, unfortunately if these particular images got back to her, she could figure out exactly when and where they were taken, and then figure out it was my doing. I’ll have to keep these in the spank bank for now.

I give him a businesslike look and say, “Hey, I have a message for you from the angel.” Tom tries to hold back his grin. “There is a board meeting after lunch. If they were to hear that Victoria might not make it into work today because of a crippling hangover, she might get a bad reputation around here.”

Tom nods. “Terrible. We can’t let that happen.” He leaves, puzzling over how best to accomplish his mission.

It is just before lunch when Victoria finally appears. She slaps her hand down on the printed schedule and stares at me, snapping my attention away from the computer. She has made a valiant attempt to pull herself together and look presentable, but still looks rough around the edges. She is wearing an unusually low key outfit. Her sunglasses make it hard to gauge what she is thinking.

“Good morning, Victoria.” I am breaking years of tradition by not using her surname. After last night, I feel like we can be on more familiar terms. {if victoria_blackoutpics = true}Putting your dick in someones mouth will do that.{endif}

“Come into the office,” she says in a low, foreboding tone. I follow her in. She drops her things on the floor next to her and then drops herself onto her chair. “What the hell happened last night?”

I’ve been feeling anxious about this moment, but it has to be faced. “Feeling that rough, huh? Do you seriously not remember?” I still can’t read her with the sunglasses.

“Not all of it...tell me.” Her jaw is tight, but something in her voice hints that she is afraid of the answer, and I savor the moment.
