The legend!
“Listen to me, let me tell you of the legend that walks our lands” Apollo sang, “This is my unfortunate favourite” Persephone admitted, “A god who now lays alone. A descendant of the underworld blessed with affection and heart of Aphrodite and cursed with the anger of Ares, the lover of the virgin goddess, this statue would have you believe!” he leaned against it before continuing with the story, “Technically my step father but he is so much more than that, the only man to catch Athena’s eye and almost take what Zeus holds dear!” the group laughed with Athena ignoring it, “Now he was abandoned by those who he called family and his love was scorned” he leant forward to the children who sat there listening to his words, “Alone in the world he took the plunge into the place we do not speak and became the king of Tartarus!” they listened as Aphrodite whispered to Athena, “How is he?” “How would I know?” “You caught his eye!” “He hasn’t talked to me for over 10,000 years and last I heard he remained alone!” they listened in as Apollo sang, “Krisi the antidote to Zeus’ poison, the warrior of the innocents, defender of the gods from the evil within and isn’t consumed by mad lust, he may be alone but he will never be forgotten” and leaning in he spoke, “No one has won his affections but someone may, so roll up and try to win his cold heart!” and looking over he spoke, “One day his loneliness will be no more!”
