Chris went into the ladies room, and walked past all the women working on their appearance in the large mirror. He found his way back to a vacant stall and, after a moment's hesitation, slipped down his panties and sat down to pee. It was an unfamiliar thing to do, but he realized he couldn't just stand up and pee in the ladies room, or he might be found out.
As he relieved himself, Chris idly wondered why he wasn't trying to escape. For the first time since he had first been grabbed, no one at all was watching him. He knew he should make a run for it and that this might be his only chance, but somehow he felt compelled to stay.
He sighed to himself, then finished up in the stall. On his way out of the bathroom, he went to the mirror with all the other women, pulled his lipstick out of the delicate little purse Lisa had given him earlier, and freshened it up. With one last look at the unfamiliar face in the mirror, he opened the door and went back into the club.
As he left the hall and started making his way through the dance floor and back to the table, he found that Beth was waiting for him.
"Good girl, Christina. You passed the first test. There's hope for you yet."
