Kara has captured all the girls through tricking them into thinking they are going to be richly rewarded for bringing a set of magic beans back to her. The beans of course, are not magical at all, and Kara is not the person they had originally thought they had bargained with.
"This is dumb" Nick said. "Larry and I were going to go out drinking tonight..." He fiddled with the hard pinto bean that Kirk had given them to represent the magical beans their characters all had. Larry was Nick's twin brother and roommate, and Larry had no desire to get wrapped up in the 'weird' roleplaying that the other guys did.
Kirk smirked at him and said, "Well, then wrap up the quest..." he said, as if the others had the situation under control.
"I eat the bean." Alex said, of his character Alexis. "I take it in my hand and swallow it." He did the same with the pinto bean in front of him.
Kirk looked angry, but Tom just mocked him. "Those are magic gender-bending beans!" Tom said. "All of your characters are guys now!" Tom said, in a very sarcastic tone, waving his hands around in a magical way. He ate his bean too, but nearly **** on the hard, uncooked bean.
Jake and Nick shrugged, and ate their beans too. Kirk looked even more mad, and was about to protest, when the four other boys pinned him down and made him swallow a pinto bean as well.
"Now we've all eaten the magical beans!" Alex said. "What does Kara think about that?"
"She curses you to all act in real life as you do in this game!" Kirk said, angrily, as he grabbed his things and stormed out of Alex's room.
Brody, Alex's best bud poked his head into the room and asked if everyone was ok.
