Almost as 1, Denise & Heath started talking.

"That was my---"

"---agent," said Heath.

"---lawyer," said Denise.

"I guess that means the game is cancelled," Bev said, the disappointment in her voice very obvious.

Denise gave Bev a hug. "Don't worry. It's just a delay. Heath & I definitely want to play you 2!" Heath emphatically agreed.

But, the best-laid plans of mice & strip-poker players often go astray. The game was never rescheduled. Bev & Tony went on to have other memorable strip-poker games, but they would always remember the game that never was.
