The game continues

Peach grabbed the deck of cards and began dealing the next hand. Each person was down to their last piece of clothing, which meant that this round would be someone’s last. After Peach dealt the cards everyone seemed much more focused on their hands than usual, likely due to the stakes of the hand. Unfortunately when you looked at your own hand you realised that it was basically garbage. You almost had a straight as you had a five, six, seven, and eight but unfortunately no nine or four to finish it. Instead you had an ace as your fifth card which meant that any pair would beat your hand easily. However, you were yet to switch cards, you still had a chance. You had two choices in this situation. You could go for the straight by discarding your ace and hoping for a nine or four. On the other hand you could discard everything else and go for a pair of aces which could be a safer option and a strong pair to boot.
