The floor

Lauren was already well into the attic looking for the source of the 'Mysterious Dancing Lights' that the homeowner, Eliza, was trying to pass off as legitimate supernatural phenomena, when she heard the woman shout something. What was it? Lauren couldn't hear very well with the sound of her heels echoing off the bare attic walls and the whole place creaking as it did, so she continued on. She was intent on going to expose this woman as a **** attention seeking loon and as they say 'no guts, no glory'!

Therefore it was only when Lauren heard the splintering sound that she realized what Eliza had been shouting. "It's not safe!" was what the woman was trying to tell her. Unfortunately by the point that Lauren figured this out, the floor was already giving way underneath her. She only had time to look back at Eliza and the camera crew and give an O-shit face before the wood and paneling cracked beneath her weight and she plunged through the floor.

Terrified, the crew and Eliza hurried back down the attic stairs, around the corner and down the hall to get to where they imagined Lauren must have fallen. When they found her the crew immediately picked up their gear and started shooting and getting sound. They could tell this was going to be good.
