The fight
Aragorn understood he didn't have much room to maneuver in his cramped bedroom, and knew that Einis figured it out also. "Einis, we don't have to do this, I don't want to hurt you." Aragorn said.
"This is a fight for honour Aragorn, if I win I decide your punishment, but if you win, you decided what to do with my life. It's how it works." She said, her blonde hair waving behind her as she moved from side to side.
"Come then, let's finish this." Aragorn said as he charged her with his dagger. Aragorn was amazed at her skill with a blade, especially a dagger, as it was much harder to use than a sword. Aragorn had only seen her use a bow, and he thought a blade fight might be easy enough for him, but he was being proven wrong. He jumped out of the way just in time to avoid being sliced across the chest as Einis pressed her advantage. She was laughing as she fought, laughing! Elves and their joy of battle, Aragorn thought to himself as he fought for his life. He continued to parry her swings and he saw the inkling of respect in her eyes, as she saw how he fought. His arm began to weaken as he parried yet another swing from the Elf, and he knew he had to end this soon or risk losing the fight and being presented to Lord Elrond in chains. He trusted her with his life, but he couldn't risk the worst happening.
"This is no fight." Einis complained. "All we do is keep parrying each other, we need more space, maybe after I defeat you I can challenge you on an open field for your freedom." She said her eyes glinting with excitement at the thought.
"Are all Elves as blood thirsty as you?" Aragorn gasped as Einis gave him a break. The sweat from his exertion was making the grip on his dagger loose, he had to keep an eye on that. A loose grip could mean **** to him.
"Only the young ones like me. The elders abandoned the fight long ago for more scholarly lives." Einis said beginning to stalk him again. Aragorn had to distract her somehow, if she lost her concentration, maybe he had a chance at quickly ending this. He remembered the one thing not to talk to a woman about.
"Young? After how many centuries are you classified as old?" Aragorn let out a **** laugh, and saw the anger flood her face fast as she charged at him with renewed vigour. Well shit, here we go, he thought as he fought for his life. Einis was in a fury, Aragorn guessed that age was a touchy subject with Elves as well as humans. Aragorn could see all the holes in her attacks, she wasn't thinking clearly, she was too enraged for that. Aragorn decided to:
A) Tackle her to the ground and hold his blade to her throat until she calmed down
B) Cut her non lethally and tackle her to the ground as she flinches in pain
C) Let her stab you and take her by surprise once she does
D) Leave a suggestion
Aragorn had her on the ground, she continued to struggle but he saw the fight leaving her as she admitted defeat. What to do with the prisoner?
A) Have her swear to stay at your side on your quest to defeat Sauron with the ring
B) Begin to strip her and take her as your prize
C) Unrestrain her as you two catch your breath. You have her respect, that's enough for now.
Author's note: Remember that some of these choices will have consequences for the rest of the story, so choose carefully.
