What's next?

A plan forms

Aragorn saw the opening in her defence and took it. He dived at her waist and could hear her exclamation as she was tackled to the floor. Her dagger was jarred from her hand as her wrist banged against the floor and she lay there defenceless. Aragorn was reminded once again not to underestimate an elf as she swiftly wrapped her legs around his back and squeezed with all her might. Aragorn felt the life being squeezed out of him, but he had one thing going for him, he still had his dagger in his hand. He snarled in pain but was able to bring the sharp edge of the blade up against the pale skin of Einis. "Don't think I won't do it." Aragorn warned. "Surrender, and I'll put it away."

"Here I was enjoying how close we were together." She said as Aragorn noticed just how close their faces were from each other.

"Well I'm sorry. Trying not to die here." Aragorn snarled.

"Sometimes you remind me just how young you are Aragorn." She sighed. "I surrender." She said and dropped her legs to the side. Aragorn gasped for the breath that was flowing into his lungs once more as he sheathed his dagger and rolled off of the Elf. He lay on his back gasping as he stared at the ceiling, he looked over at Einis who was just staring at him with those unblinking Elven, green eyes. "I suppose I have **** but to follow you now Aragorn." She sighed.

"Why do you sound so down about it." Aragorn asked.

"You do realize, that if we pull this off, and that's a big if we will have not only the Dark Lord after us, but the White Council as well?" Einis stated.

"I've thought about it, yes."

"And the fact that you won't be able to woo any Elves to your point of view, since they will probably fill you up like a pin cushion without even showing themselves to you." She added.

"I've been trained to be a tracker Einis, I know when someone is stalking me, just like how I know to stalk my prey." Aragorn said.

"How do you plan on taking the ring from this Hobbit anyways?" Einis asked sitting up cross legged.

"An art known as deception, and a little sleight of hand." He said with a smile as he revealed the red sash in his grasp. Einis gasped and felt around her neck but realized it was gone.

"You could've taken anything, and you took my sash?" Einis teased.

"Will if I took what I wanted to take off, I was afraid that it would've distracted me so much I might've lost." Aragorn said. Einis moved over to him and gave him a light peck on the lips before laying on the ground beside him.

What is Aragorn's plan to take the ring from the Hobbits?

A) Take the ring right at the beginning

B) Take the ring before the Hobbits go to sleep and escape in the night

C) Hope for a distraction and take the ring then escape in the middle of all the commotion

D) Have Einis seduce the Hobbits, then take the ring (Duskford's idea)

"I hope you know what you're doing Aragorn, one false move and we could both get killed. Evil has already found its way into the hearts of the people here. Apparently there is a shrine to Morgoth somewhere in the vicinity around here." She said while looking at him. She couldn't know, he told himself. "You'd be surprised at what I know Aragorn." Einis smiled at him.

"Stop reading my mind!" Aragorn fumed as he rolled over on top of her and slammed his hand beside her head intending to scare her. Instead she smiled at him and whispered in his ear.

"I love it when you get angry Aragorn, your youthfulness is replaced by the maturity that I crave from you." She said before licking his cheek playfully.

"Urgh, how can I stay mad at you?" Aragorn said collapsing back beside her.

"It seems I still have much to learn about the emotions of humans." Einis muttered audibly.

"So you know what I did at the shrine?" Aragorn asked. Einis looked at him straight in the eye, for a long minute before speaking.

"Do you trust me Aragorn?" She asked.

"Of course, with my life." He replied at once.

"The I trust you as well. I know your heart, I know you will do the right thing, even if it isn't the way I would go about doing things." She said.

"What do we do now? Gandalf's letter made it seem as if the Hobbits would be arriving tomorrow evening, I don't know about you, but I could definitely use some sleep." Aragorn said.

"You know me, I don't need as much sleep as you humans, but I have an idea of what we could do that would keep us busy for a while." She said smiling at him.

"Oh, do tell." Aragorn said teasingly.

"Well-" She paused.

"Yes?"

"I was thinking-"

"Yes?" Aragorn loved it when she played these games with him, she knew just how to tease him.

"We could go and check on those horsemen that rode on through the town like a tornado." She said innocently. Aragorn simply covered his face with his arms and groaned.

"Are you serious?" He asked.

"Of course, what else did you think I would suggest?" Einis teased him with a smile. "Up you get, I saw them ride by as if being chased by the Nazgul themselves. I wish to investigate."

"Alright, but this wasn't my idea of what you were going to say." Aragorn said.

"Oh, what did you think I was going to say?"

A) Tell her what he thought

B) Keep it to himself

C) Leave a suggestion
