The doctors don't have a clue

“The doctors have no clue whatsoever,” she sobs.

You slowly caress her shoulder with one hand, trying your best to comfort her.

“I’m sure they’ll find out what it is and what to do about it,” you say.

“Sure,” she sarcastically replies.

You keep sitting like this with Danielle for several minutes, neither of you have anything to say.

“I’m going to take a shower,” Danielle finally says.

She stands up and walks away. You admire her body. You can hear some drawers moving as Danielle grabs some fresh clothes. A while later you hear the shower, but there’s another noise as well. You walk towards the bathroom door and realise what the sound is: Danielle is crying.
