Chapter 17 by SingingLark SingingLark

Marriage? Children? High Priestess? Who Is Invited? What Now?

The day before the wedding

"I am going to be married" Mira said to herself, as she gazed upon the mirror. She hated to admit it, but she looked adorable. She barely remember the last time she dreamt of getting married, she must have been... seven, eight?

Mira continued to comb her hair, putting another flower on her braids. Back when she first agreed to this union, this threesome union, she had imagined the occasion was just going to be an excuse for debauchery and sex. But she had been proven wrong. No, Marus allowed her and Aleira to really prepare a proper wedding, they were to have floral arrangements, music, guests dancing... She and Aleira had similar tastes, and agreed on almost everything about the wedding. The only difference was the dress.

Mira stepped back, to see herself. It was a light summer dress, green and with just a few golden embroiled laces. It hid most of her athletic build, but none of her feminine curves. She also had a veil, that went just shoulder length. In her dreams she wore virginal white, but... Mira was honest enough to know she didnt deserve that anymore.

Aleira was living her own faerie tale. She dressed in golden and orange, the colors of her office as a high priestess. But where her usual robes were discreet and unflattering, her dress was revealing and sexy, exposing her shoulders, most of her breasts, and a diamond over her navel.

Mira sighted, like she so often did. She had agreed to all of this. She was going to marry her greatest enemy. But she didnt regret that, she did it to save Aleira, who was becoming more of her old self each passing day. When she looked at herself in the mirror, her biggest regret was "I wish it was you that I was marrying, Aleira"

"But it doesnt matter. Tomorrow our fates will be sealed, and it will be the three of us. forever" It had been too long since she last prayed, but she knelt and asked for her goddess for protection and endurance.

Any chance for a divine intervention on her wedding day?
