The beach

Kelly pouted in the car seat, arms crossed angrily over her padded chest. Here she was, dressed like some idiot kid, getting dragged somewhere by her horrid step mother. She had ****, no control. While she meditated on her horrible situation they drove to their destination. Kelly suddenly realized that they had stopped. She looked around. They were at the beach!

The public beach, the one closest to to town. It was a gathering place for everyone, from families to Kelly's age group. Everyone spent at least one hot day a week here. Kelly shuddered. She was bound to run into people she knew here! She hoped that she wouldn't be recognized in this horrible outfit.

Gail exited the car, already clad in a one piece bikini, sandals and a sun hat. Despite her age, Gail was in excellent shape, with long shapely legs and a nice tan. Kelly felt even more silly in her stupid bikini next to Gail, a MLF who probably greatly outshines her!

Gail unbuckled Kelly from the car seat, then held her hand as she led her from the vehicle. Kelly squealed as her feet touched the hot assphalt. She danced from foot to foot, causing Gail to watch her with amusement.

Finally, they reached the much cooler sand. Kelly looked over the beach. It was a hot weekended afternoon, and there were countless groups around. Kelly hung her head, hiding her face with her hair. She prayed nobody she knew would recognize her. Gail threw out a towel and laid on it, lounging happily. Kelly plopped onto the sand, pulling her legs to her chest to hide as much of her horrid outfit as she could...
