The world where myths are real. Where Greek and Roman demigods exist in the same world as Norse warriors and Egyptian magicians. In a world of gods of various types, powerful beings are not unknown. Nor is powerful items. Which is why the powerful Infinity Stones wouldn't be unusual other then the levels of power they had. Beyond even all of the gods combined.

Which is why when the stones fell into the hands of one of these might heroes or villains, the world will be shaken on it's foundation. Not only the power of the various supernatural beings could be enhanced by the Infinity Gems, but they would gain all of the powers by way of infinity. Which might have their own problems if it reacted with those powers in strange or unusual ways.

So we have to ask, Who will gain the power of the Stones?
