The Town Orphanage

“It’s a surprise.” Jessie said in a sing-song voice.

Lauren shivered; she didn’t like the sound of that. After all, it was Jessie’s surprises that had her secrets exposed to her hated work rival and had her in her current situation of being diapered in public. Lauren squirmed in discomfort as the unbearable heat shone down on her, sweat rolling down her back and pooling in the horrid plastic garment that was roasting her lower half. Lauren was so busy squirming, that she didn’t notice that they passed a large sign.

After a few minutes, Lauren felt Jessie stop. She looked up to see a large five story house.

“Surprise!” Jessie called out as she pointed at the house.

Lauren looked at her in confusion. This was Jessie’s surprise? Some random house? Lauren then saw Jessie pull out a piece of folded paper and another safety pin, pinning the paper to her shirt. Lauren went to grab the paper when Jessie rang the doorbell. After she did so, she then quickly turned around and ran away; leaving the horrified Lauren standing on the doorstep. Lauren opened her mouth to call for Jessie to come back when she saw the sign they passed. As Lauren read it, her eyes went wide. Her face went scarlet. Her heart dropped into her stomach. Her jaw dropped in terror.

The sign read, “Mary’s Home for Little Lambs”.

Jessie had just left Lauren…wearing only a diaper and a baby’s shirt…at the doorstep of the town’s orphanage!

She had to get out of here!

Just as that idea popped into her head, the door to the orphanage opened. Lauren could only gulp as she saw one of the workers step out, the little woman turning bright red...
