All Jack Torrance wanted was a nice job that would permit him to feed his family and work on his novel during his spare time. He thought his new job as winter supervisor of the Underdress Hotel would provide just that.

However, the Underdress Hotel has a secret. A deep dark secret. It has a habit of making its guests' worst fantasies come to life. And unknown to his wife Wendy, Jack Torrance has a taste for ENF stories. And he and she and their young son are going to be all alone in the Underdress Hotel once winter is coming.

And winter is indeed coming. And it can get pretty cold in winter if you're stuck in an ENF story...
