The Second Trial

You let out a small yawn as the early sun hits your face. You look over to see Flora bundled up in all the scarfs that you made with her. You carefully get up and place her on the ground since she was leaning on you. You decided now to head to elder's hut and as you do everyone was looking at you. Some of them had high hopes for you while others were glaring, as if they want you to fail and a few had worried looks, almost if they were pessimistic about you completing the trial. You arrive at the Elder's hut and his golden eyes appear and his voice echos with a few chuckles. "Alright. You've done well to pass the first trial but this one will be much harder. The second trial is called Bonding Friendship. I've been told you and the Nidoqueen are very close friends. In this trial you will be tied to your friend head to Vapol Lake which is east from here. Staying close is key but there be a lot of obstacles that will try to separate you. Should that happen, you will fail. If bonds be broken before you reach Vapol Lake, you fail. How will we know if you succeed? The bonds that hold you close will transform into crystal that reflects your strong bonds. Quartz! Bring the Nidoqueen right away.' The Onix nods as he slithers off.

You shudder a bit from the thought of bonds but you will be with Flora for this trial so it shouldn't be so bad right? After a few minutes Quartz arrives with a black eye and Flora grumbles a bit as she gets off of him. The elder chuckles a bit as the rocky naga makes a bow before leaving as the others, with the exception of Wes since he's still on guard duty, showed up. The elder's voice speaks out while your friend rubs her eyes "My apologies for waking you up but you'll be helping your friend with this trial." Flora lets out a loud yawn and stretches out a bit "Nnn... Huh..? Oh... Okay..." You knew she wasn't a morning pokemon and that could be a problem but the trial had to go on. The elder's voice echoed again "Are you ready to go?"
