The School of the Basilisk

Artur rode His Horse hard up the Hill to the Citadel, this was to be where he would Spend the next Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter training New Witchers for his New School: The School of the Basilisk. He had spent most of his pre-retirement crafting new Diagrams based on Ancient and Half-Destroyed Diagram's from the School of the Cat, Manticore, Griffin, Wolf, Bear, and Viper, as well as Elven Diagrams from a bygone age of their bygone civilization. He had Paid off several Orphanages in Skellige, Redania, Temeria, and Nilfgaard to give him many of their Charges, and killed those who refused to do so, when the Axii Sign failed to convince them.

These Children aged roughly five to eight years old would become the next Generation of Witchers. Veseemir was gone, and with him the Last Grandmaster of the School of the Wolf, But many Witchers Still remained, Geralt, Lambert, Eskel, Gaetan, Letho, and Artur himself to name a few. And so he Invited Lambert, Eskel, Gaetan, Letho and A few other Specialists of the Non-Human Variety. Namely Ilorveth, Zoltan Chivay, Saskia, Detlaff and Regis. Zoltan would teach them how to craft their own goods, Ilorveth how to Silently Stalk prey, Shoot a Bow with Elven Precision, and how to hide in plain Sight. Regis and Detlaff would teach them history and Cultures and other subjects of importance.

Meanwhile Geralt, Eskel, and Lambert would teach the kids how to Use Swords and Acrobatics and the Fighting Style of the Wolf School, with Artur and Letho Teaching them the Viper Schools Fighting-Style, with Artur Simultaneously teaching the Griffin, Bear, and Manticore Styles of Fighting, while also Teaching them the Cat's Style of Fighting alongside Gaetan. He also began recruiting Non-Human Children, As was one of the School of the Cat's Traditions alongside taking Females as Students to become Witcheresses, which Artur also began to continue in his own School.

H would also Go on to employ Triss, Yen, Sile de Tanserville and Keira Metz to teach the Kids additional Sorcery and Magic in addition to the Witchers Signs. Ciri was glad to see the Orphans getting a better chance at A Life that they would have otherwise been worse off without, and many of the Children came to see Ciri as their Mother, and they loved it when she visited them.

As he entered through the Grand Gate of the Witcher Citadel, he found the Kids in groups of Six being taught by Either Yen, Eskel and Zoltan, Lambert, Ilorveth and Keira, Triss, Saskia and Letho, or Gaetan, Geralt and Sile. As Artur dismounted his Mare and Put her in the Stable with the Schools other Mounts, he Found himself Watching The Children, remembering what it was like for him at each of the Six Schools he went to, Of them all he Found the Viper to be the most Studious and Informative, The Griffin the most Magical and Chivalrous, The Bear the most Sturdy and Enduring, the Cat the Most Ruthless and Exciting, The Manticore the Most Refined and Cultured, and the Wolf the Most Versatile and Understanding. But after Veseemir died, the Wolf's Scattered and fractured, Kaer Morhen was Now completely abandoned, Artur had personally seen to it that Veseemir get a grand Tomb laid full of Traps and Trials, sich things only a Witcher with all the Training Artur had could Pass through Unscathed. And in the Grand Chamber was A Finely Crafted Casket that held Veseemir's Old and decaying Body. Inside laid his most valued possessions, His Witcher Gear and on the Caskets lid, Each Surviving Wolf left a Message to their old Mentor.

In the surrounding area of the Grand Chambers interior were Veseemir's Teachings, protected by Old Elven and Witcher Magic.

As he came out of his memories he knew that the Children would be going for their mid-Afternoon Lesson on Potions and Oils overseen by Triss, Geralt, and Regis, before they would be taken on their Run through the surrounding area. This left the rest of them to get some stuff done around the Citadel, chief Amongst them Upgrading the Forge and Seeing the Walls Reinforced, but the most important thing was to Tend to their Grain and Food Stores. Unlike Kaer Morhen or the School of the Cat's Fortress, They Kept a incredibly Large Supply of Grain, Vegetables, Meats, and Livestock on hand, with a heavy emphasis on Potatoes, Carrots, Mushrooms, Onions, Lettuces, Tomatoes, Pumpkins, and Radishes in terms of Vegetables. As for Livestock, they kept a good couple of Herds of Cattle, Four Dozen Chickens, Twenty Five Goats, Sixteen Geese, and forty two Sheep, these supplied them with Meat, Eggs, Milk, Cheese, Flour, and Leather.

So Artur decided to Send Letho, Lambert, and Gaetan to Hunt the Griffin that had been preying on the surrounding area, so their Cattle could graze Safely without fear of becoming a meal sooner than they were meant to. Meanwhile Artur and Keira would have to start Work on the Renovations that he had previously set up.
