The Quest Begins!

Kelsey had told Jill and the others to craft their characters and backstory ahead of time so she could work on the campaign.

Greg, Amber and Luther were playing a half-Orc barbarian, a Tiefling sorcerer and a human druid respectively. Jill was playing something she had always planned on creating, but never had the time to play it: a half-elf Bard. Sarah's character seemed like an obvious choice her her, an elf cleric.

"Alright, some really solid stuff you guys." Kelsey, who was the group's Dungeon Master, said. Courtney had decided to sit this game out and see how it's played. "Next time." She said.

Jill, Sarah and the others then chose their beginning stats, inventory, ect and the game began. After explaining the backstory of how the party came to be, Kelsey told them that this ragtag group of adventurers were on a quest to stop an evil phantom tyrant who ruled over the entire continent. But in order to stop him, they had to gather four massively powerful artifacts.

And that brings them to the town of Gardena, as they look for information on the artifacts locations.

"Okay, with that out of the way, who wants to roll first? Jill or Amber? Clockwise or counter clockwise?" Kelsey asked to the girls at either end of the 'U' shape of the table. This shook Sarah out from her imagining of the story. No wonder she had so many fans, she's very compelling to listen to.

"Amber you can start, I haven't played in a couple years, so I'm a bit rusty." Jill offered. "Thank you." Amber said with a smile.
