The Outcasts...

Lexie begins to show you around the city, and you get to see the Outskirts first. The Outskirts have many tarps set up around the outside ring of the city. The Outskirts are all the low life Syndicate members. They basically sit between the edges of the main city and at the bottom of the mountains that border the Syndicate. You don't really stroll around the Outskirts, but you definitely look around and notice how similar it is to how the slums were back in Rathkin. How similar they were to how you trained and lived for the past five years.

After walking around the Outskirt, Lexie suggests you take a stroll through some of the inner city to so you can grab a bite to eat, relax or just enjoy your night at the Syndicate.

"Sooo..." you begin "are you done working the night or do you need to get back to the gate?"

Lexie takes her arm and pushes off on your bicep, causing you to stumble to the right "Hey!" you mumble

"We have rotations" she begins "You just caught me right as I was finishing. I figured, why not show around such a warrior." she smiles at you.

"Thank you!" you begin "I'm grateful a low-class warrior can show me around the city."

Lexie stops, grabbing your wrist which causes you to stop in place "Really?" she question you "Don't you even dare think I"m just some random low-class warrior." she states

You chuckle at her "Lexie...come on." you roll your eyes

Her hand, still grabbing your wrist, her eyes look up towards you as she cocks her head and raises an eyebrow. "You know that beast I was riding..." she begins "Only the strongest warriors of the Sunriders get to ride such beasts." she states

You freeze. Gulping down a giant wad of saliva before you begin "Wait...you're...a Sunrider?!" you question her

"Seriously?" she steps back, letting go of your wrist "Why the hell else do you think I was riding around on a damn sabre-toothed tiger?"

"well..uhh.." you stumble "I mean..yeah...I knew that but..." you hesitate

"You really are clueless about the Syndicate aren't you?" Lexie asks "Did your keeper just lock you in solitude and train you for the tournament?"

"Listen..." you begin "I knew about the Sunriders...I just...I just...didn't think you could be one of them." you try to play it off "I mean, it's not like you're anything special."

Lexie lets out two light laughs "You piece of shit..." she smirks at you. "How about this..." she starts "Let's go grab a bite to eat, a bed to sleep in, and then I'll bring you to our training grounds so I can kick your ass."

"Are you sure I should embarrass a warrior of the Sunriders?" you question her.

This causes Lexie to give you another punch in your arm. "I've killed many men..." she begins "Many cocky-ass Rathkin men like yourself."

"Okay..." you begin "It's a date." you pucker your lips together, kissing the air as you throw your arm over her shoulder, bringing her body in close "Wine and dine me..." you now whisper into her ear "and maybe you'll get lucky."

"Dick..." she says. Lexie can't help but smirk at you, pulling her body into yours, feeling the embrace, the warmth, the strength...
