The Nightwing Appreciation Party

Dick Grayson awoke in his bed to the sound of his alarm clock. For once the former boy wonder has had a good nights rest. The previous month saw the world was once again plunge into Crisis. A Crisis that **** Grayson to take the lead when it was believed the Justice League were destroyed. But when it was all said and done the League was saved and so was the world. As thanks, Nightwing was formally invited to become a member of the league. Despite encouragement from his friends, the Titans, his girlfriend Barbara, and even Batman, he still has doubts he will join.

When Dick turned off his alarm clock, his hand touched a note taped next to the clock. Dick looked over to his side and notices Babs was already gone. He rubbed his eyes and read the note.

Babe,

I hope you enjoyed sleeping in. I want you to come to the watchtower tonight. Come alone and don’t worry about going on patrol, I’ve got everything worked out. You deserve to enjoy this day.

‘The Watchtower? Why the Watchtower?’

Nightwing immediately guessed a surprise party (who wouldn’t). But they already had a party after last months crisis. If this was about him getting into the League, he hadn’t made a decision yet.

But not wanting to disappoint Babs (god knows he would never hear the end of it if he did). Nightwing decided to go. But first, he would enjoy Barbara’s freshly made breakfast.
