The Mall

"Let's go to the mall," You say giving him a smile back.

"That sounds great! I heard they're practically giving games away at the Gamestop there."

"You like playing games eyyy?" You say, walking with him to the bus stop. You could drive there, but frankly, it was probably faster just to hop on the bus. Your school had a deal so you rode for free, so why not.

"Yeah, I mean, I'm not like a gamer or anything, but like I umm. I know I must sound lame." Derrick's face was suddenly getting bright red, almost as red as his hair. You lean against the bus sign.

"Oh, that's a shame you aren't. I love gaming," you say with a smile.

"Really? Like what?" Derrick says looking up at you, his eyes sparkling.
