Who Are These Five Suitors?
The Jock, The Alchemist, The Rich-Girl, The Engineering Student, and The Foreigner.
"It is a pity," Ursula reflected, "that they all are rivals for my affection, otherwise they would make a perfect superhero sentai..."
She was talking to Masukumeron, her familiar, as they basked in the early autumn sunshine above Koriko Municipal High School on her 'skyboard' one of her father and mother's many innovations for those with magical gifts. A skyboard was combination broom, bicycle, exercise machine, skateboard, mechanical sweeper, and surfboard, which permitted those intimate with their somewhat bizarre workings and gifted with magic to both ride and fly in style. Like each of her five sisters, Ursula had been given one as a gift for her 10th birthday, and though this was a later model she had used one exclusively ever since.
She came up here most days during afternoon free-period to escape her five suitors who grew ever more creative, (and excessive,) in their attempts at wooing her.
Five candidates, each one with his or her strengths and weaknesses, and to a man/woman unwilling to share her affection with any of the others, for various reasons, but mostly having to do with their own native jealousy and/or insecurity...
"Ok, let's go over them one more time..." Masukumeron said, yawning and stretching, her needle-sharp claws flexing, but not scratching the enamel of the skyboard.
"Fine," Ursula replied, putting up all five digits of her left hand...
