Chapter 7 by zonefire zonefire

Who do you target?

The Ice Queen

The two of you slowly stood up, careful not to wake anyone. Most people were curled up in the sleeping bags. The auditorium room you were in wasn’t really heated and the windows sort of leaked. The bow on Blake’s head seemed to twitch as she was balled up in the bag. That would make things harder to use the pen for sure, as most people didn’t have much skin showing. You glanced at Ruby, who shivered a bit.

“Seems like an onesie was a good choice after all.” You teased in a soft whisper.

“Still looks silly.” Ruby shot back with a grin.

The two of you crouched by Weiss and luckily she wasn’t curled up inside her bag. It was almost like she was used to the cold. Ruby held a finger to her lips and you nodded silently. Ruby took out a pen from her pocket and lightly drew on Weiss’ face. Nothing bad, just a small mustache that extended to her cheeks. You gave her a thumbs up while she tried very hard to suppress a giggle. It wasn’t like you were going to draw dicks on her face or something. She would wake up and people would laugh. When she discovered it, she would wash her face and fume a bit.

No one would be hurt… probably. You were pretty sure.

Then you noticed something.

Weiss had her arm out of the bag and her hand was in plain view.

This was literally the best chance you could have asked for. Not only was she asleep and not able to resist, the skin that was visible was something easily seem by others. If you wrote your name on her forehead, other people would see it, but she wouldn’t. It was important she saw it or you risked being eviscerated before it went into effect. Weiss seemed like the kind of person to do that, even though she was stunning. Beautiful and deadly, a dangerous combination.

Ruby was sneaking away back to her bag, not wanting to be caught, so it was now or never.

Carefully and lightly, you used the marker to write ‘Jaune Arc’ on the back of her hand. When her hand lifted up, you nearly had a heart attack. Thankfully, she was just scratching her nose. Ruby glanced back at you and you gestured back to let her know you were okay. You quietly moved back to your bag and snuck in trying not to make noise.

“What were you doing?” Ruby whispered.

“Just added my own mark.” Jaune whispered.

“She’s going to be so mad when she finds out.” Ruby giggled.

“Yeah, let’s pretend we don’t know what happened.” You suggested and she quickly agreed.

“Jaune…?” Ruby whispered after a moment.

“Yes, Ruby?”

“Thank you for letting me borrow your weapon. I’ll make you proud.”

“I know you will.”

The two of you the stopped talking and went to sleep.

It took a while for you to actually fall asleep. You were so anxious to see what would happen. Owning a person would be akin to owning a ****, which was illegal in Vale. Would you get in trouble? Will Weiss obey your orders and treat you like a master? Would you just own her hand or arm? How would that even work in that case if it was her arm? There was also a chance it didn’t work on people, so you might get yelled at for writing on her. Of course, she’ll blame you for the mustache too.

Hopefully your new friends would protect you.

The next moment, you felt someone kicking your side lightly and some sunlight was shining through your eyelids. Morning had come far too soon for your liking and you rolled over, pulling the bag over your head. There was a disapproving sigh, followed by a couple more slightly harder kicks. You tried to ignore them, but they just grew steadily harder. Eventually, you couldn’t take it anymore.

“I’m up!” You cried out as you sat up.

You half expected Ruby or Yang to get you up this way. The last thing you expected was for Weiss to be standing over you looking down at you with irritation etched on her face. You blinked to make sure you weren’t dreaming and gulped. What you did last night came back to you and you noticed she didn’t have her mustache anymore. She must have discovered it and wiped it off. The way she was looking at you implied she found your name on her hand and was not amused.

“Er… hi, Weiss.” You managed to croak out.

“You getting up or what?” She asked, tapping her foot impatiently.

“I… guess?” You looked around. About half the bags were empty, but several other people were still sleeping. Ruby and Pyrrha were gone, but Yang was still in her bag, snoring away. Obviously she was not an early riser. “Wait! Why did you wake me up?”

Your words were met with the biggest eye roll you could recall seeing.

“Because you’re my owner and there’s no way I’m letting you sleep through breakfast and do orientation on an empty stomach.”

It took a moment for her words to sink in.

“I own you?” You repeated, trying to process this.

“Duh?” Weiss held up her hand, showing his name on the back of it. “Did you hit your head or something? Get up already so we can get breakfast or I’m going without you.”

“Give me a minute to get dressed.”

You had to learn more and couldn’t believe this worked. A world record must have been set for changing clothes as you rushed into the bathroom and changed before running out to meet her. She looked you up and down and must have found you presentable because you didn’t insult you. Your first opinion of her was that this wasn’t a typical **** ownership. Her attitude really hadn’t changed. You needed to learn more.

“So, Weiss?” You asked. “I own you, right?”

“Yes, you know this.”

“Why do I own you though?” You pressed.

“Because I have your name on me,” Weiss huffed, holding up her hand. “You’re acting weird.”

“Do you like being my property?” You couldn’t resist asking.

“You’re better than others, though I wish you would mature a bit,” Weiss told you brutally honestly. “My thoughts don’t matter. Regardless if I like you or not, you’re my owner and own me.”

“So I own this?” You asked, touching her arm.

“My arm is part of me, so yes.” Weiss replied.

“And this?” You touched her hair. “Since this is mine, I can do what I want with it?”

“Yes, but does this have a point?”

Okay, you needed to try something big.

“Okay, sorry, one more to humor me,” You tell her and then you took a deep breath. “Since you’re my property, I can touch this anytime I want.”

Then you put your hand on her ass.

You did check to make sure no one was in the hallway when you did that.

Her face flushed and she stiffened slightly.

“Y-yes,” Weiss stammered, the first break in her cold demeanor you saw. “It’s embarrassing in public though. I would prefer you not, but it’s up to you.”

You couldn’t believe it!

Weiss will let you do ANYTHING to her now.

The power was exciting and also terrifying.

Immediately, your pants tightened in your crotch as you imagined all the amazing things you could do with her. However, the two of you just entered the cafeteria and it was crowded. Part of you debated having people notice Weiss was your property, but you weren’t sure what the limits in public were for what you could do to your property. Public indecency laws probably still existed. You may have to wait until AFTER initiation.

When you finished breakfast and headed toward the locker rooms to get your weapons with Weiss, you ran into Pyrrha.

“Hey, Pyr!” You called out, glad to see the beautiful girl.

“Oh! Hello Jaune!” Her smiled was dazzling, but then flickered when she saw Weiss following you. “Er, good morning, Weiss.”

“Good morning, Pyrrha.” Weiss greeted. “I’m glad to see my owner conversing with more sophisticated individuals.”

“Owner?” Pyrrha’s eyes widened and then blushed as she thought of some weird roleplaying. She was from Mistral and they had… interesting fetishes there. Then her eyes fell on Weiss’ hand and she seemed to instantly understand. “Oh, right. You have his name on you.”

You immediately debated trying to write your name on Pyrrha, but decided against it. You could wait until after initiation when you had time to relax and experiment.

“Ready for initiation?” You asked instead.

“I will certainly do my best and hopefully the cards will be in our favor.” Pyrrha replied. “Teams are supposed to be formed here, so maybe we can be on the same team, Jaune.”

“I wouldn’t mind that.” Jaune admitted and grinned at her. “Maybe I can show you a few things.”

Her delicate laughter was magical.

“I would enjoy that.” Pyrrha replied and put a hand on your shoulder before reddening and quickly leaving to head to the cliffs where initiation was to be held.

“That was Pyrrha Nikos,” Weiss told you and she was glaring. “She graduated top of her class in Sanctum and was four time Mistal regional champion.”

“The what?” You asked, not hearing about either before.

“She’s on the front of over Pumpkin Pete’s Marshmallow Flakes box!” Weiss told you angrily.

“Wait, but they only do that for star athletes and cartoon characters?!”

Weiss face palmed.

“My point is… I doubt you can teach her anything, but if you’re on her team, she might be able to teach you.”

“Think you can teach me if we are on the same team?” You asked.

“Of course, I can!” Weiss replied smugly. “I’ve been training by the best in Atlas and it would be a dishonor if my owner wasn’t able to at least defend himself from Grimm.”

“Great!” This was exactly what you needed. Someone to help get you up to scratch. You noticed Ruby and Yang in the distance and decided to chat with them a bit before initiation. “You can go on ahead, I’ll catch up.”

“Very well, but don’t you DARE be late.” She took off, letting you visit your other friends.

“Jaune!” Ruby was already cradling her ‘new’ weapon. “I can’t wait! I’m going to rock initiation with Crescent Rose.”

“Glad you like her.” You laughed and looked at Yang. “Seems like you’re ready to go.”

“It’s going to be a breeze,” Yang assured you. “Punch some Grimm, show off how awesome I am, and then become a full-fledged student here.”

“Good luck, both of you,” You tell them, suddenly feeling nervous. “Maybe we’ll be on the same team.”

“That would be awesome!” Ruby agreed. “I rather be with people I know then random strangers.”

“Strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet.” The words came out of your mouth automatically and the girls stared at you. “Well, that’s what my mom says anyways.”

They both laughed at you as the three of you made your way to the cliffs. Nearly everyone else was already there and lining up. Ozpin began another speech with his assistant headmistress, a blonde haired stunning young looking woman named Glynda Goodwitch, while you were only half paying attention. Your mind was too busy thinking about how the marker worked on Weiss. When he mentioned that partner would be selected that day, you quickly snapped back to reality and focused on him.

“The first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years.” Ozpin said.

“What?!” Ruby cried out from next to you.

“After you’ve partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest,” Ozpin continued, ignoring her outburst. “You will of course be meeting opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path or you will die…”

You gulped.

“…Your performance will be monitored and graded during your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene. There is an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. I recommend having your landing strategy prepared now. Are there any questions?”

“I have one!” You said, raising your hand, a little confused and worried.

“Good!” Ozpin replied. “Now take your position.”

“So this landing strategy thing,” You continued. “Are you, like dropping us off or something?”

“No, you will be falling.” Ozpin explained to you.

“Did you… hand our parachutes? Because I didn’t get one.”

“No. You will be using your own landing strategy.”

“Umm... yeah.” You were about to try to clarify what a landing strategy was when you were catapulted off the edge with the rest of the students.

You really should have been paying attention.

“AHHHHHHH!” You cried.

Now, as you went flying through the air, hundreds of feet above the ground, your life flashed before your eyes. No training because of your parents, sneaking your way into a Huntsmen Academy, and you were going to die a virgin. You regretted not going further with Weiss when you had a chance. If you managed to survive you promised yourself you would live life to the fullest and take more advantage of the opportunities given to you. The ground began to grow closer as you began to fall.

Who saves your sorry ass?
