The Fitting is faster then expected, and the man is quick to please.

You step into the shop with Faith at your side again and no sooner had the two of you step in this small old man comes up to you and shakes your hand, his face is relaxed and he has a large smile on his face. He speaks softly and says " I am Sir or Mr, I like many of us have the name of Nobody. And as kindly as it has helped me to become an old man, calling someone nobody is very invalidating. So I go by Sir or Mr. And you young man what is your name?" He looks at you from top to bottom but before he gets a response of who you are he smiles and says " You will look very good in a suit, Thou I need you to stand up straight. Don't bend the back line up straight all the way up. Be proud be strong be the suit!"

Faith smiles at you and says " I told you Sir, is a funny old man."

Sir turns to look at Faith and gives a gap tooth grin it is almost scary before he says "Ah, you know me do you?"

Faith shakes her head once or twice and says " My ex-husband had been looking for a Tailor and I was with him the day he checked out the shops and of all the shops this is the one I liked. My ex on the other hand did not."

Sir shakes his head and says " He was an idiot and that is why he is an ex-husband." He looks you over a moment and then smiles at you and says " You young man are not an idiot, you listen to this fine lady and you will have a fine suit."

You shrug and look down at him you kinda wonder how he is planning to measure you for the suit and you realize you have not told him your name yet. So you turn to the man and say " I am John Doe." The man just smiles as if he expected it to take this long to get you to talk.

He gives you a half bow before saying " Please follow me" he leads you over to a few steeping stools it's clear he is use to dealing with taller people. He then says " You are only customer, few people walk in most call first. No plans for any others today, business good but slow. So please take off your shirt and pants so I can get started with measurements." You look at the old man a second and he just smirks at you and waves a hand at you to get down to your undershirt and boxers.

The old man nods once you are and says " Don't worry I figure this young woman has seen more of you then that, she would not have brought you to me if she had not. She wants to see you in something nice."

Faith smiles at you and just grins as she watches the old man do his work as if she was expecting this, so you ask " Let me guess? Your ex-husband got as far as this and decided this was not how he wished to get measured and left?"

Faith starts to laugh but nods, you realize that is why she so relaxed with how the old man is acting maybe. Sir on the other hand, looks at Faith for a second and then nods to himself as he realizes what you said he then adds " You seem much more relaxed about this then many."

You of course just nod and point out " I don't care if a 100 people come walking in here and see me like this, Shit I could do this naked if it really helped not to say I want to but I could."

The old man smiles for a moment before he gets to taking measurements, it does not take long for the old man to take down all the numbers he needs and he says " Now we just need to pick a color and sort out payment and the likes and everything, I got all measurements." You did not even notice the type measure touch you but maybe the old man is so well practiced he can call it by eye and he only has to check the rest of the information to make sure it is correct. He does seem kinda strange on the whole either way.

Faith nods and says " we had been talking about a dark blue maybe Navy, maybe with stripes if you got something that looks good with that. Other wise just solid dark blue, same for the pants, I was thinking we would go with a white dress shirt and maybe a vest that matches the suit. And if need be you can put the striped material on the vest, I was also thinking of getting a hat for him to wear with it. As well as a belt and shoes if you got that as well here."

The old man just grins he is happy to have someone spending so much on a walk in he also sees the possibility of future business and just smiles and says " Don't worry, I will make two jackets one with both styles with dark blue either way. As well as two vests, and trousers. I will make one dark colored dress shirt because it will look good and one light, maybe baby blue instead of white? And this way you can mix the vests and the suits and dress shirts as needed. And two hats then? match a belt to use with both? as well as shoes? I can do all that if you like and show you what I come up with in a few days if that is ok?"

You look at the funny little man and say " Sir, might I ask why you wish to make two of everything?"

The old man nods and says " Easier this way, already making one. So why not make two?"

Faith laughs and says " Alright that is fine, and I am going to guess the price is fair right?"

The old man nods and says " Very Fair, but if you ever need another suit you come back to me! I am the best!"

Faith nods and says " Some of the others had said the same, But my ex-husband is an idiot."

The old man smiles again and says " I don't like idiots, I just figure if you want two kinds of suits maybe it be easier to make two kinds of suits I sense this and decided to just offer it. Less work it is I tell you less work."

You realize how eager he is to make suits and do the work and so you just smile and nod and say " Fine so how much for all of it?"

The old man smiles and says " Well, it depends on what currency you plan to pay in does it not?"

You nod and hand him the bank card/credit card you had been given, he looks at it in shock for a moment, then the old man nods and says " Good business for you, I give you good business." He looks at it again for a second then at you and asks "Can I ask young man? why do you have this card?"

You shrug and say " It was given to me, to use as I need for the things I need. It has money on it, I use it spend it and I go on with my life. Is it a problem? If so I would say talk to Faith she can mostly pay for this stuff if it happens to be a problem."

The old man shakes his head and says " No problem, it just happens to be that this card will allow you to get the best exchange rate for whatever currency I charge you to make the best of the payment. These cards are hard to get for most people, this will make your suits very cheap because I can charge them to the strongest value for me. And it transfers right into my account, so say I take pounds from European countries. 1/4 of what I would charge if I took American dollars or if I took Free zone currency. Does that make sense young sir?"

You nod and say " So your saying that I am able to pay less because the value of the currency your being paid will allow for a better profit for you?"

The old man smiles and nods and says " That is it really it is, the cost for the two suits will be about 100 pounds. Which 50 to 100 less dollars then I would charge if it was Free zone, and 25 less then if it was American."

You look at the old man and say " From the look of the suits you have hanging around us I would say you could charge more so why so little?"

The old man looks thoughtful and then says " Government special, this is tax free money. So I make about 50 percent more on the whole as well with this transaction. Of course the belt and hats and shoes will be another 50 pounds or so but we will not charge that til you come to pick up the suits and ensure they fit and pick what works with them based on your tastes as well as my own."

Faith just looks at the old man and smirks and says " John, I doubt many others will realize the money they get from your card is tax free. Sir here, happens to be one of the few I know who noticed it when my Ex-husband was about buying stuff. And if what the old man here says is true my ex paid two to three times more then he had to for the same thing and maybe of lesser quality. And I could guess that simply on the fact that Sir here had the eyes to notice the value of the payment he is getting."

The old man smiles and says " Good money you pay young man very good money, a deal will be had whenever I can help you."

You look at him a second and ask " Do you happen to have a female employee or anything like that? I mean think about it if you could supply clothing for females as well as males you might get more business. I am sure I might bring you more business if that was true as well, then again we have to wait to see how the suits turn out." You grin at him and the old man just nods and makes more notes.

He nods a second and then says " I will need to look into making the business a bit bigger, I have thought about it for a while and we have space in this shop or I can rent the space next door. And if I did supply both male and females with product that would for sure make it a clear and correct business plan." He just nods to himself for a second and then smiles and says " ok 95 pounds for the suits 45 for shoes hats and ties when you pick them out." He nods to himself a second and then smiles.

Faith of course looks at the old man funny and asks " Sir you would not be part goblin would you?"

The old man laughs a moment and then shakes his head and says " Nope but if I where, I don't think I would run a business like this one. And I think I would have more teeth and they would be sharper."

You smirk at him and realize Faith was right this old man is a strange kind of folk even if he is strange he is reasonable and observant, he runs a clear and clean business from what you can tell and he seems pleased to help and aid people with the requirements they ask of him. He notices the hesitation of the customer and decides things for them and then is more then fair to supply what is asked of him. You just nod to yourself a second before you shake his hand and say " It happens to be a deal Sir, I am sure Faith would have told me it was a bad deal if it was not a good one. And from the sounds of it, she is very pleased with your offer."

Faith nods and Sir says with a smile " I will take the payment for the suits now, and get started as soon as I can they will be ready for a check fitting in a few days. That is when you come in and see how the suit design is checked to your body to make sure it fits and all that. Were I explain the pocket locations and so on, and you can decided on moving or removing them all together things like that."

Faith just nods again and smiles and waves for you to come to her when your right next to her she whispers in your ear " That is a damn fine deal, the exchange rate is pretty poor right now but this old man knows that he can get more for the pounds later as the exchange rate improves then he can get right now. So he knows that it happens to be an investment and the fact he can't be taxed for the money allows him to get a bigger gain then you would expect also the card prevents a charge for him converting the currency to the form he requires which allows him the best results."

You just nod and say " I know some of that, anyway dear I think the funny old man wants me to sign something." You lean over take your card and look at the bill he printed out and check it and it says what he said nothing more. You nod and sign it and give it to him.

The Old man nods and smiles and says " Now, to get to work. Do not worry it will be very good the best, this way you will send more people. Maybe male realities? or females you know once I expand the business, I will need to hire a dressmaker." The man has a funny smile at the idea but he seems to know he might ask because it seems clear to you he has thought about it a while.

You just nod as you and Faith finally walk out of there, and you realize that stop was not that long at all. Once in the car you turn to Faith and say " Your right that old man was kinda strange, he talked directly he seemed happy to please others and so on. Very strange indeed, and it is even stranger we call him Mr. Or Sir. I mean he seemed to be taking instructions from us so it seems funny we call him that."

Faith just nods and says " What are you to call someone with a name like Nobody? he has a valid point on that but the tradition of protecting ones soul or the soul of a child in this country makes it so they pop up from time to time." You of course know this and just smile.

You then ask " So Faith this card, this money I was given? do you think it is American? or the Pound or the Free zone currency?"

Faith looks at you and says " I get the feeling its 10,000 dollars of whatever currency the people charge it as. So it is either 10,000 pounds or 10,000 dollars or yen or whatever. So the money fits the quality they ask for? I think that is the point of the card, and why Sir made a huge point of it. He can take less from you and get more for himself by doing it, or he can take more from you and lose money for doing it. But like I said many don't realize it they are doing that, which is why you have to be careful about it. Soon or later you might want to ask Dr.Maxwell for more cards so you can clearly mark them what they are so you can pay from what it is and not lose money for doing it. Or lose the government money for doing it whatever the case might be."

You just nod and shrug realizing it is one more thing you have to learn about and decided on and figure out, but all things figure it does happen to be nice. So your not going to bitch about it for now, so you smile at Faith as you pulls out and starts to drive off to the next location. Your starting to hope something fun happens besides interacting with colorful characters and the likes of whats going on. Faith on the other hand seems to have a huge smile on her face so you get the feeling something fun is about to happen.

She pulls car on to the road and starts to drive again she looks over at you a moment then says " Next stop the girls request."
