The Extremis

At the head of the Martian's industrial evolution, The Second of the Higher races, The Extremis are often forge-workers, Engineers, architects and other kinds of craftsmen. Extremis are often very practically minded, preferring cast iron planning and action rather than social affairs, though, to preserve their seat in the Immortal Empress' favour, they often attend Balls and events with a hidden ****, this dislike for frivolous social interaction often makes the Extremis come off as an overly antisocial people, though this is not completely true as an Extremis are often happy to converse given a legitimate reason.

Extremis are the closest race on Mars to Humanity, Being humanoid in all ways except for Two unique qualities, The first being their enhanced senses, having excellent hearing and almost psychic sense of smell, the two being tipped off by their sharp earlobes and bright red noses, The second is a sensitivity to rust, forcing them to heavily cover themselves during the Frequent Martian Dust-Storms.

The Extremis are one of the only Races on Mars that can reproduce without issue, though the population of the Extremis race are controlled through The Law of Birth, with heavy culling being the consequences if the Law is broken.
