I decided to take the direct approach. Yeah she was crafty but I doubt there was anything she could do against me. I floated into the open and spoke. "Visiting hours are over honey. That item also isn't for sale. Put it back and come back later to buy a knock off at the gift shop." Onyx whirled around surprised to see me. However, she smiled and looked me up and down before giving me an approving smile. "Well well, you must be the famous Liberty Girl. I knew you heard you were beautiful but you are so much more." I glared at you. "Flattery will get you know where. Put that back and come quietly. No reason for this to get rough." She gave me a cocky grin before pulling someing from behind her and throwing it at me. It exploded and turned into a bollo. I simply looked at it and destroyed it with heat vision. I shook my head at Onyx "Sorry but I don't feel like playing with your toys."
I started to float towards he but after a few feet I suddenly dropped to the ground. I wasn't expecting this so I ended up landing on my hands and knees with a thud. Even more shockingly....it hurt.....I don't usually feel pain that easily. I looked up at Onyx who appeared to be just as confused as I was. "Um....are you okay?" I got to my feet and took a superhero pose. I was feeling weak. Really weak. I knew I wouldn't be a match for Onyx. Maybe I should make a run for it. Then again, if I backed off, that might confirm to Onyx that something was wrong.
