The Dark Age

Recap: Giles' past catches up with him. Old friends who had been involved in demon summoning have returned, but die right before they get to him. A zombie interrupts their computer class and is locker in the book cage.

"No, computer class never started," Xander said on the phone. "Yeah, it was interrupted. Of course its a demon thing. We could use your help. What? No, I don't know if I'll need to make it up. Okay, yeah, thanks, get here when you can."

"Any luck?" Willow asked as he hung up.

"She'll head on over," Xander replied. "What do we have?"

Buffy looked at the zombie that was inside the cage. "Dead. Zombie. Other than that, I don't know."

The library door swung open and Miss Calendar walked in, "Rupert is on his way over."

"Rupert," the zombie groaned from the cage.

"What was..." Xander began as he turned around just in time to have the cage door go flying open and smack him in the face.

He crumpled to the ground ****. Which meant he didn't get to see Buffy fight the zombie. Or that when it was knocked down Eyghon used that opportunity to jump to his **** body.

Xander felt his senses returning. He was in Buffy's bedroom. Buffy was here. He was in control, but not.

He was possessed. It was sad that he had been possessed enough times that he was beginning to recognize the signs.

He could feel the demon beginning to seize control again and he only had a moment to act. He needed to burn off some of the demon's energy. What does he do?

A) Channel the demon's anger through his words - that should satisfy the demonic need (3 votes)

B) Use the demon's energy to draw Buffy to him - that should keep the demon occupied for awhile (4 votes)

C) The only safe possibility - attack himself, he couldn't be sure if he would get another chance (1 vote)
