The march to Yula was not a terribly long one, two days past and your warband had reached the border. There was however an obstacle in your path, the only entrance into Yula was blocked by a border fort that blocked the mountain pass into the region.
Thankfully the fort was not terribly large with little in the way of actual defenses outside of its walls. In all likelihood you could take the fort in a straight fight, however if the defenders were able to send some sort of warning signal then the nearby settlements would have more than enough time to shore up defenses or seek other protection. This would have to be done quietly otherwise your entire invasion risked failure before it even begun. You gathered your lieutenants and set to work forming a plan.

Several hours later…
After several hours of consideration you had finally forged a plan. First you and two others would sneak in under the cover of night and disable any kind of alarm system and then open the gate, after that the main **** would strike quickly and with any luck the defenders would be caught off guard enough to ensure a quick slaughter. The two men joining you were Markus and Grag, two young but experienced lads you knew you would be able to count on if anything went wrong.
