Test them out

Kimberly Anne Possible could hardly believe the incredibly good fortune: six gems to give her powers beyond her comprehension! But she wanted to test them all out. So, she grabbed the red gem of Power, opened a window, and concentrated on firing a single burst out fire into the air. It was starting to fall when she used the Gem again to fire a beam of light to destroy the fireball. She then tried it again to make her own outline glow red briefly this time, and she practically lifted her bed with one hand; it was amazing to be super strong again, among having all these other powers. For a third time, she tried something else: elasticity. She stretches her arms out and seeing how far she could reach made herself feel a bit like taffy. "Now this I can get used to," she grinned. She retracted one arm back to her and reached the other for her bedroom door, locking it with a click.

Through the entire afternoon and the start of the evening, the agile heroine learned that the Power Gem could profoundly increase the strength of the others. So she tried experimenting: spilling a pencil and using the orange Gem of Time to freeze it all in the air before rewinding it back to clean it up. She used the Power Gem in front of her mirror to change herself in Bonnie, mimicking her voice to praise Kim for all her hard work to help the world, then she tried out more forms and found it fun; Using the blue Gem of Mind helped her to think like a genius and to use different aspect of psychic powers, including levitating herself and other things in her room; the green Gem of Soul allowed the inside scoop on her own soul: the good qualities and the more 'evil' aspects; the purple of Space allowed her to teleport all over and, with help of the red Gem, created copies of herself to almost fill the room before she made them disappear.

The only one she didn't test out yet was the yellow Reality Gem, but she liked how her life was going. "Except for people like that Bonnie. I wish she wasn't such a snob." And the yellow gem glowed brightly for about 2 seconds before it stopped. "Whoa. What's the sitch...?" she asked herself softly.
