Tell the truth.

Seeing no other alternative you give up and tell them the whole story of how you came to have the boots and how they work. As if you needed to considering they apparently read the same note you did. Finally you finish by admitting you were just out to have fun and see what it would be like to be a woman for a night. They look you over and take it all in apparently believing you despite how incredulous it sounds, granted they did just see you transform from a beautiful woman into a man in front of them. Finally satisfied by your answers they seem to be pondering what to do next.

“Now what?” You ask. “Can I please have the boots back so I can just go home?”

They both seem to ponder the question before one of them answers.
