Monster: Miss French: She-Mantis

1. Scene: Classroom - Buffy/Xander/Willow - Buffy wakes up Xander who was having a dream about fighting off vampires and impressing and arousing her. They are in a biology class covering bugs. Buffy is surprisingly into the material.
2. Scene: Bronze - Buffy/Xander/Willow/Angel - Xander feels nervous listening to other men talking about their success at sex. When Willow and Buffy come in together he puts an arm around each, confusing them. Buffy goes to talk to Angel, who warns her about a dangerous vampire. Change: Due to zero attraction, no flirting occurs.
3. Scene: Quad - Buffy/Willow/Xander/Giles - Buffy and Giles discuss the message she received from Angel. Xander informs Willow and Buffy that the science teacher is missing. When asked for details Xander admits that he was looking at the cheerleader’s short-skirts, disappointing Buffy. Xander is distracted by the arrival of Miss French, Buffy and Willow are amused by his behavior. Change (supernatural females): Buffy is also drawn to Miss French.
4. Scene: Class - Buffy/Willow/Xander - Miss French asks for volunteers and all of the boys hands go up. Change: Plus Buffy. She says she'll work with Xander tomorrow.
5. Scene: Park - Buffy - On the hunt alone, Buffy encounters a vampire with a claw for an arm. The fight is interrupted by the police*, but Buffy pursues the vampire. When he spots Miss French, instead of attacking, he runs away in fear. Change: Despite her attraction Buffy is able to recognize the danger.
6. Scene: Hallway - Buffy/Cordelia - After telling Giles about the claw vampire (change: given her leadership status Giles does not criticize her), Buffy runs into Principal Flutie who insists she go to counseling. While waiting she is disturbed listening to Cordelia’s vain words.
7. Scene: Class - Buffy/Xander - After getting to class, Buffy looks in as Miss French flirts with Xander. When she goes to warn him, he doesn’t believe her and thinks she is jealous. Buffy believes pheromones are involved. Change: Buffy admits to being attracted to Miss French. Xander leaves for a meeting with Miss French.
8. Scene: Miss French’s House - Xander - Scene: Miss French’s House - Xander - Xander goes to meet with Miss French. She is in a sexy dress and flirts with him. He is ****, admits to being a virgin, and that he loves Buffy.
9. Scene: Library - Buffy/Willow/Giles - Willow gets into the files that show what happened to the biology teacher. She begins to freak out and discusses how much she likes Xander and his parts. Buffy tries to reassure her. Giles informs them it only feeds on virgins, while Buffy tries to stand up for Xander, Willow immediately knows he is a target.
10. Scene: Basement - Buffy/Willow/Giles/Xander - As a team, they slay Miss French right before she mates with Xander. Willow says it’s good that Xander is a virgin, then jokes about never bringing it up again.

Xander took a moment to look everything over. He had been wondering if he would have a profile appear and was disappointed that he couldn't make more changes.

He was also more nervous about what to do. There was rumor going around school about Willow being gay. Or, well, bisexual. Outside of these moments he didn't believe it, but here he knew it was true. He had read it. He had made the events that had led to it.

He regretted it, but also understood there was a good idea there. His best friend liked girls and him. Helping her be happy was a worthwhile goal.

Helping himself and all his friends was a worthwhile goal. He just had to be careful that nothing else went wrong.

*I just love that the one time in the series the police just randomly show up here to interrupt Buffy.
