Chapter 3 by Wicked Nightmare Wicked Nightmare

What do you do with her?

Taunt her with a little tour.

Given that she used her abilities to craft combination radar and communication devices by hand, it's obvious she has an affinity for electronics. You decide to start small by showing off some of the great tech you have while having her ushered around by your assistant. Waving a lot of gadgets in front of her would serve to tease her while hammering home just how impossible escape is. The cuffs holding her to the wall are disconnected and then joined to each other in behind her, while a leash is attached to her suppression collar. You procure her glasses and set them on her face, and she stares at you curiously through her scuffed lenses.

You start by having her led to the entryway to the prison, with monitors showing her friends inside their cells. Where there might have otherwise been a view of an empty cell, she saw herself from a viewpoint not far above the screens. You see her turning her head at funny angles as she tries to look around the scrapes in her glasses. She fidgets against the cuffs, probably having mixed feelings about the situation. She probably stopped hearing from the others before she was captured, but now she knows all of them are alive, but captive. She seems to still be processing this as you show off a few other things like radar displays and perimeter guns.

As you're showing her the small arsenal your guards are equipped with, her glasses slip off. She squints and squirms against her cuffs, kneeling to retrieve them before your assistant can. She finds that one of the arms has broken off, searching around for the missing arm. After she picks it up and puts it in place against the rest, a light on the alchemist's collar turns red as it emits a bit of beeping. Moments later she falls limp on the ground as the collar interrupts the signals between her brain and limbs. The collar continues to alert as her head sways, being the only part of her she still has control of. She stops moving as the collar's light turns back to green.

Your assistant takes a look at the glasses, noticing that on one side the screw is missing and replaced by a plastic joint and that the lenses are less damaged than before.

How do you respond?
