Tara resists

Logical as Dawn's arguments seemed, some basic part of Tara's psyche recognized them as morally wrong. She had to fight this, but she was wearing down. She needed to gamble. Weakening her psychic defenses almost to the breaking point, she channeled all her remaining strength into a single telekenetic burst, slamming the box shut.

"Dawnie," she said desperately, "that thing is controlling you. You need to fight it."

"No," Dawn insisted. "It FREED me. It showed me the truth. You see the truth too, you just haven't accepted it yet. It's so much better once you do."

"It's slavery!"

"Tara, Willow loves you SO much. She misses you. Please, come back to her."

Tara shook her head. "No," she said. "Not like this."

Dawn gave up on persuasion. "She wants you," she said imperiously, "and she WILL have you!"
