Tan while wearing the bikini.

Even though Erica enjoyed skinny dipping, she decided not to press her luck. It would be safer to wear her bikini while tanning on the beach. She could better maintain her modesty.

While she was currently alone on the beach, somebody could arrive without notice at any time.

She reached for her bikini bottoms and put them on, securing them snugly against her hips with knots. With the bikini top in her hand, she stopped to think. "I've already gone skinny dipping. Maybe it would be ok to not wear the top and sunbathe topless."
