Tammy is skeptical

Despite keeping the warm smile on her face, Tammy couldn’t help but raise at eyebrow. At first, she believed her grandmother when she said that she was babysitting a little girl. However, the closer she looked at this “Sally” girl, the more she thought that this girl looked a little older. Especially when she saw how Sally reacted to seeing her and her brother. As she often babysat as a job, Tammy knew that, not only did “Sally” not act like a shy four-year-old, but she had to be older than the age she gave.

At least maybe twelve, or something…

At seeing Tammy's quizzical looks, Lauren began to panic inwardly. Was Tammy catching on? Did she figure her out?! Was she going to tell Wilma?! Lauren couldn’t let that happen. If Wilma found out, she’d not only be punished by the crazy old bat, but the blabbermouth would tell the entire apartment. She’d be ruined!

Just then, an idea came to Lauren’s head. An embarrassing idea. In order to keep Tammy from exposing her, she would have actually convince the younger woman and her brother that she was, indeed, a little girl until Vanessa could come get her out of this mess.

But the question was, how was she going to do it?
