What do you do now?
Talk to Mr. Sharp
You head downstairs, intending to check on Chanel. As you step into the hallway you see Darnell Sharp leaving the nurse's office. There are several clusters of chatting girls in the corridor, and you're aware of a few speculative glances cast your way.
"Mr. Sharp," you call, and the teacher turns and smiles as you approach. You look to see that you're out of earshot of the students before asking him how Chanel is.
"She's with the nurse. She's calmer now, the nurse gave her a sedative. She was pretty shaken up."
"Did she say anything about what happened?"
"Not really. She was crying, asking why anyone would hurt Jo-Jo, apparently that's the bear's name, but didn't seem to know who might have done it. Her friend Tiana, the one who showed me the nurses office, seemed to think it was a prank."
"Maybe. I'm not so sure. I'd like to talk to Miss Vallon. Did she say anything about the incident last night."
"What incident?" he asks, looking puzzled. "I don't know what you mean."
"Something similar happened last night. I'm surprised she didn't say anything about it."
"Not to me. Maybe to Nurse Wulf. She seemed to think the girl should be left alone for a while."
"I'll talk to her and see what she says. I'd rather get this done sooner than later, but I don't want to give Miss Vallon further stress."
There's a loud bang that makes both of you turn to look. A few yards away a girl bends over at the waist and picks up a fallen text book, her short skirt rising up to show that she's not wearing any panties. She looks back between her legs at you and Darnell, her face full of mischief as her friends giggle.
"Jesus Fucking Christ," you growl softly. "There's no end to it with these girls."
