Chapter 25 by Fencer
Take Ravok's advice?
Taking Ravok's advice
Fear sat like a cold lead weight in Calvo?s stomach as he entered the metallic cargo pod that now served as his quarters. He was not inexperienced with a gun, he had been in fire fights before, many times. But he was no quick-draw artist. That VIM junkie bastard certainly was, judging by the lurid tales Ravok had told him as he drove Calvo back to town.
The ex-prisoner fought down the fear with grim determination. Fuck it. He would face whatever came tomorrow, and if he died, at least he would die a free man. Calvo decided to take Ravok?s advice. He?d enjoy the night to the full.
?Come here, Dragon?
The petite, oriental beauty rose from the sleeping mat in the corner, a slight smile playing on her lips. Naked, her dark brown nipples jutted impudently from her small breasts , and her slender hips swayed invitingly as she walked toward him, her bald pussy temptingly shadowed in the lantern light??

Fast. SO FAST. The town clock had struck?.Calvo had thought he had reacted quickly, his hand snaking toward the handle of the gun he?d been lent. And then?it was like being kicked in the chest. No pain really. Just an impact. Sligo stood, his gun smoking, face expressionless, eyes unseen behind his VIM glasses. So fast. Calvo felt wet heat against his chest, knew it was blood. But bending his head to look seemed?.so much of an effort now. He was lying in the dirt. How had that happened? He hadn?t felt the fall, didn?t remember it happening. There was so much noise around him. Cheers?shouts?a woman screaming. He wished they would all just shut up. He was so tired. So very tired?.
((BAD LUCK?.CALVO IS DEAD! WHY NOT TRY AGAIN?))
