Chapter 5
by
Loeman
Dingro is dead. What does the Dark Lord do with you?
Takes you to a new host
You continue with Dingro's body for a moment, futily jerking muscles. Move his mouth, his limbs, in a grotesque, useless display. The fibers you'd created are new and not numerous or strong enough to work his body on their own. His ears, and your ability to hear, go in and out. As blood begins to congeal in Dingro's veins and brain, your work slowly becomes impossible. You have to abandon his body, and you can't take all your new growth with you. Leaving it behind - Dingro and those pieces of you attached to him - hurts. You tear off bits of yourself. But it feels right. You stretch again, withdrawing and breaking of strands, filaments, and tentacles in an effort to make yourself mobile again.
You fully return to your soundless non-Dingro world, but with vast gifts gained. New context, and if you are lucky allies and purpose - or at least the possibility that you won't be immediately destroyed. You can't work from Dingro's mind anymore, but you don't lose what you have gained from him, what you've learned and processed.
Your attachments severed, you pry open dead Dingro's lips. You see Uldar's shape, and the Dark Lord's. You are picked up, and now you know so much - you can even judge by Uldar's face that he isn't happy picking you up. That is funny, but you can't laugh right now. You are content as he is forced to gingerly carry you in his gloved hands. When the Dark Lord's back turns away you pop out every tentacle you have left at Uldar, right in his hooded face, scaring him. He drops you, but that doesn't hurt, and although behind his helmet you can't see the Dark Lord at all, and can't hear anything, you see the Dark Lord's helmet turn towards Uldar and you can tell from Uldar's face that he just got yelled at. He shoots you an angry look.
Funny.
You are taken through halls of the Dark Lord's castle, and wind up in a chamber. The dungeon. You didn't get the whole layout of the castle from Dingro's mind, but he had feared this place and it stuck in the memories you had gained from him. Some non-goblins were there. You are able to identify them as failed adventurers, failed heroes that had tried to kill or disrupt the Dark Lord. A few Orcs too, failed members of the Dark Lord's own army, and even more Goblins.
You are taken to one of the Orc's cells. You can tell he is small for an Orc, but he still towers over Uldar. The Orc reluctantly opens his mouth. You don't know what he had been told, but it was surely nowhere near the truth if he is opening up so willingly. You keep your tentacles hidden, until you are placed inside his great maw. And then it is too late for the Orc. You unleash your true self, and though he tries to lean forward, to drop and spit you out, those tactics were far too little, and far too late. You climb inside your new body, and in moments you've taken over.
You've been given a chance, a new body to control

Memoirs of a Minion
Fight, kill, die and fuck for your evil master (not necessarily in that order)!
Inspired by the immensely entertaining CHYOO story "Game Monster" by Cantalope and the very awesome video game, Overlord, in this story you are a magically spawned minion-type creature (goblin, zombie, ghoul, dark knight, etc) born to live, fight and die for your evil overlord master. Serve your master well and survive the many pitfalls of minion-dom and rise up above the rank of fodder for heroes to your overlord's right hand. Fail or betray your master (and get caught doing so) and meet your gruesome and horrible death. In either case, you'll be sure to fight, kill and (if you're lucky)defile heroes and other creatures and foes along the way, all in the name of your dark master!
