Switch to Raven's perspective

When I regained consciousness I was overcome by the sensations of the cold and complete darkness that surrounded me. Still, it was nothing compared to the cold darkness that filled my soul.

I had trusted them. I thought they were my friends but, in the end, the handed me over without a second thought. I thought with them I had finally found a family but I was just deluding myself.

There was no sense of time in the place where Ssakcik had taken me so I had no idea how long I had been here. I could feel solid ground below me but in all directions was nothing but pure blackness.

This place was cold, at least forty degrees below a comfortable level. When I tried to pull my cloak around myself to stop my shivering I realized in part why I was so cold.
