Suspicious Jack

You groan as the morning light hits your eyes. You stagger out of bed to the shower. You swear you head feels like you were out drinking last night.

Last night? You realize you blacked out on the way out with Tina for drinks.

You head down to get coffee and talk to Katy. You sip a delicious cup of coffee, hoping it will clear the fuzz from your brain. Katy is in her usual spot at the desktop.

“Katy, I had a blackout yesterday with Tina. Do you have night time security footage?”

Katy punches a few buttons. “You don’t think Tina...I mean she has seemed a little off since we rescued her, but...”

You see Tina pulling in her and a woman you’ve never seen before, but is somehow familiar step out of the car.

“Who the hell is that Katy?”

“Shit! I don’t know. We’re going to have have to question her.”

You grab Leo and Toby and head to Tina’s room. You wake her up, somewhat roughly.

“Tina, who the hell did you bring into the base last night?”

She giggles. “I can’t tell you that, my Mistress forbade me.”

“Mistress? Who the hell is that Tina.”

“You’ll know soon enough.” She begins to giggle.

You shake her. “Who is she?”

Tina just giggles.

“Shit! Toby, Leo, put her in the holding cell.”

You head back to Katy.

“Katy, any luck figuring out who that was or where she went?”

“No idea, Jack.”

You spend the next eight hours scouring the base. You have no luck and meet Toby, Leo, Katy, and Emma.

“Anybody find anything?”

A round of head shaking.

Katy opens up. “We must consider this may not be a vampire at all. A variety of creatures escaped from the house. This could be some sort of shapeshifter or s variety of more exotic possibilities. We need a good night’s rest and hopefully things will be clearer in the morning.”

You can’t argue with Katy you do a check of the base and the bases security and then head off to bed. You are asleep the moment you hit the pillow.
