Supper

Jacob and Miles completed supper with only a few minor cuts on Miles side to show for it and as the last plate was set down on the dinner table Jacob took a look at the wall clock and it read 6:30 PM and just as the last plate clinked the front door swung open. Jacob looked up from admiring his Shepard's pie with extra gravy and brown buttered peas with a hint of mint and saw Jennifer and Becky who in turn saw the meal and ran over to Jacob. Jennifer basically running tackled Jacob which he caught (just barely) and for his part Becky softly hugged Miles and said "thank you guys" while Jennifer smiled and planted a kiss on Jacobs forehead but then she looked around "where are our lovely parents" she asked in a knowing tone.

Jacob smiled and looked at Jennifer as she got down "well their probably having a good time like you two were until a few minutes ago" he said as he pointed down to Jessica's mismatched button's on her blouse and gave her his own knowing smile. Jessica stuck out her tongue "can't blame me for wanting to let out that final burst of steam before everyone is in our business" she said fixing her blouse. Jacob rolled his eyes as he looked over at becky and noticed a few hairs loose and smirked "my oh my dear sister did you finally curroupt our dear Becky" Jessica smirked and looked over to the now blushing woman and put her arm around Becky "why yes brother now she'll be primed for all those hot hunks at school" she teased making Becky blush spread to her neck and she started to figit "n-n-now how about supper?" Becky asked hoping to change the subject.

Just then two pairs of bear feet on hardwood could be heard and Jacob smirked "why here are our dear parents now" he said as all the siblings found their seats. Luke and Olivia looked worse than Jessica and Becky did which caused Jacob to outright laugh which earned him the confused stares of his parents and the annoyed glares of his sisters. Jacob waved his hand "nothing,nothing its just you do have kids right pop you could clean yourself" Jacob said then as if a lightbulb went off Luke and Olivia looked at each other and blushed "riiiiight be back in a minute" he said as they both went to the bathroom to clean up and then afterwards the whole family sat down to dinner.

Everyone complimented Jacob on his cooking but he deflected it by putting his arm around miles "couldn't have done done it without my helper" he said but when dinner was over he kissed both his sisters and cleaned up and with that everyone dispersed. Jacob went back to his room and opened his notebook he thought about what flavors would work well with what potions "pumpkin spice doesn't work with everything but maybe if just a dash here and here" he wrote down some alchemical formulae. Jessica peeked in "hard at work without even being accepted at Ilvermorny huh" she teased she knew her brother was smart and would fit right in at the academy but it was his bad side she was worried about. Jacob looked back seeing his sister in her ususal at home attire of just panties and a loose graphic T-shirt she stole from him her C-cup breasts rising and falling with each breath but he quickly snapped his eyes back to her's an emerald green that ran in the family with little shards of grey around the outer iris. Jacob smiled and shook his head "well unlike you i wanna earn my place not spend it head first into a pillow" he playfully jabbed and she chuckled giving him the middle finger "wow fuck you too little brother see if i show up on your doorstep again" Jacob got up before she left and gave her a kiss on the cheek "seriously im happy for you and wish you good luck you and becky both" he said rubbing her arm comfortingly she looked up at him tears welling up in her eyes and hugged him "im going to miss you little brother." Jacob had to give a little chuckle at that one jessica could feel as well as hear since she was cuddling his chest "not that much, You know we'll send letters back and forth not to mention holidays" he said which earned him a whack to the chest.

Jessica looked up at him pouting "its not the same and you know it" she quietly said and Jacob smiled as he now looked down to the wet spot on his shirt and shook his head "first of all ow second fine then" she said stepping back and going to a locked drawer on his drawing desk and unlocking it "here" he simply said pulling out a present box and going back and handing it to Jennifer and she gave him a quizzical look before opening the box and as she did Jacob said "i've been saving my allowance for just this occasion" he said and inside was a necklace made to look like a golden snitch with its wings out and the chain of the necklace attached to the wings. Jennifer gasped as she saw it and tears welled up anew then she suddenly dropped the box while holding the necklace and started genlty pounding on his chest "idiot,dumbass" she began lightly cursing him. Jacob confused by this held her arms "so i take it you don't like it?" he asked to which Jennifer wrapped her arms around him and gave him a big kiss "i. love. this" she said then turned around and handed him the necklace "put it on me" she asked looking up at him and Jacob smiled "gladly" he said pulling her hair back and putting the necklace on.

Jessica hopped up and went to the floor length mirror next to Jacobs bed and gave jacob the brightest smile he'd seen since they were kids but then he remembered what time it was "alright you got an early day unlike me time to go" he said practically sweeping her out the door but as he did said "just for the record sis im going to miss you too" he said lightly kissing her neck then closing the door and falling into bed
