Superhero Adventures!

Leah had to figure out how to live life wearing a strange visor on her face, and getting odd stares. She wished the students in the university lab were able to make her special glasses like the ones that character in the comics wears, but they said it was still too dangerous to leave any part of her field of vision unprotected. So, she ended up looking like some kind of cross between a special needs student and an old, nearly blind woman. She walked around and attended classes like normal, until one day...

As Leah sat eating lunch in the Student Union, she heard some yelling nearby. Turning her head, she saw a woman dressed in black holding a gun at the cashier.

"Fill the bag, and no one gets hurt." The armed woman demanded.

"We have hardly any cash. Everyone uses credit or meal cards..." the girl behind the register squeaked.

The would-be robber opened the drawer and saw it was empty. She went to grab the poor cashier and that's when Leah intervened. The visor had a switch on the side that flipped the lens inside upward when she turned the switch, allowing her voyeur vision to penetrate. Leah turned the switch, and looked at the assailant's clothes. Suddenly, the robber's clothing vanished, leaving her in only shoes and a mask. The nude robber let the cashier go, and used her hands to cover her naked body. Her gun now pressed between her thighs. Everyone began to laugh, and the humbled robber ran away, her bare butt juggling behind her. Campus security arrested her for public indecency and brandishing a loaded weapon.

Leah smiled, knowing she had done something good. However, she wanted everyone know she was the one who helped. She didn't want anyone to know her secret identity, so she had to ask the students at the the lab to figure out a more user friendly, compact visor for her to wear as a vigilante. When she mentioned what she wanted it for, they laughed at her, because not every villain could be defeated by modesty. If she wanted to fight bad guys, she would also train to fight them hand to hand. If she proved to be capable, then they would consider using more of the lab's funding to make her a superhero costume.
