Some players think summoners are a lazy class who only send summoned mobs to fight for them, but you choose it because it is a fun class to play where you can create loyal. Ouster followers or perhaps even armies to command plus unbeknownst to the uninitiated, summoners are powerful magic users who can wear decent gear and use some weapons. It’s really kind of an all around class able to take on most challenges and even play solo. All of which scratches your biggest pet peeves when playing mmos. On the downside, summoners can start out pretty weak with few options for gear, weapons, or spells. When you look at your skill options available in your handy in game guidebook, you see you can summon one weak creature and cast one offensive spell to start with. Your armor options are leather or medium level light metal armor and weapons are among either a bow, short sword, or a baton like shaped weapon about twice as long as your hand.
