Suit has been unknowingly modified...

McKenzie found the suit surprisingly tolerable every time the wind picked up. The ventilation in the suit really was better when you were naked underneath.

Unknown to McKenzie the park owners were in the midst of upgrading all of the suits with new fans. As it was for now they had merely removed a 10 inch wide section of fabric around the mascots butt in a place hidden by the costume dress the mascot wore. The thinking being even if someone was perverted enough to look up the mascots dress all they would see is the black pants of the performer.

As it was the very naked McKenzie nearly blinded as she was had no way of appreciating the crowds reaction or to know why so many teenagers suddenly wanted to get her picture...
