Straight home

Timidly Jessica walked out into the cold mists. The bottle quietly swished in her hand. She didn't see anyone on these once busy streets.
The moon was already high, but the glow of sunset had yet to abate. The mists were too thick to see much further than a block. Muted in the mists, she heard a distant reverb of bells tolling to indicate it was the night of the hunt
The way home wasn't that far. She had to cross Yvon's bridge, take the carriage down, cross the Guther's overlook and take a staircase up, then down an ally and her old aunt would be waiting for her.
